My family just tried the Greek Pepperoni Delite Pizza. It has black olives, feta cheese, pepperoni, spinach, a really thin crust and it was great! I was afraid my kids wouldn’t like the black olives or feta cheese, but they ate it and like it, so I feel like I got 3 serving of veggies in!
We also had a chopped salad, which was only $6.oo and large enough for all 5 of us to have as a side dish. We also had a S’mores pizza for dessert, which may be our new favorite! Pizza dough, brown sugar, marshmallows and chocolate chips…you just can’t go wrong!
Family size pizza ($12.oo), Chopped Salad ($6.00) and S’mores Pizza ($3.50) which a complete meal for my family of 5 for under 25.00. If you have been to any fast food places lately, you just can’t feed a family for less than $25 (and get dessert)!
If you are planning to go to Papa Murphy’s, plan to go on Tuesday and take advantage of their $10 Tuesday special, Any pizza, any size, just $10!
Ball Up All-Stars were in Kansas City and put on a high-flying exciting basketball game! The game was family friendly and there were children of all ages in attendance. The fans were treated to thunder sticks & string backs at the door, shooting contest during the time outs, t-shirts thrown to the crowd and best of all a game full of the best dunks and fast pace ball!
Every game has a surprise NBA coach and Dennis Rodman was it! So cool, 5 time NBA Champ and so wonderfully weird! He was quiet, but so nice. My son got to meet him and since he’s a kids who loves basketball, this was the best experience for him – EVER! There were a ton of street ball legends in the house too, Bone Collector, AO, Sick Wit It and Skip to My Lou. They really get the credit for starting the phenom that is street ball!
While in town, they have an open run and invite local street ball players to come out, showcase their skills and have a chance to play against the Ball Up Stars. Visit www.ballup.com to see when they are coming to your town!
If Ball Up team is coming to your city, you will want to take them to this game! Check out one of the high-flying dunks from the game, by clicking the link below!!

Papa Murphy’s Take & Bake Pizza is now offering Primo Pizzas. I had a chance to taste test all 3 and they are Primo Perfect!
The take & bake primo style pizza is ideal for a girls night out. Since it is so easy to pick them up, put in the fridge and bake them when the girls come over to hang out. The pizzas are truly comparable to restaurant gourmet type pizza that you would have in a restaurant. I paired my pizza with a bottle wine (I’m almost sure most Moms do)!
The new flavors you get to try in the primo line are:
Goat Cheese and Fennel Sausage: Regular crust, creamy garlic sauce, goat cheese, pepperoni, fennel sausage, mushrooms, spinach, herb and cheese blend
Sun-Dried Tomato and Fennel Sausage: Regular crust, red sauce, pepperoni, fennel sausage, sun-dried tomatoes, green onions, black olives, feta cheese
Prosciutto and Arugula deLITE: deLITE crust, red sauce, fresh mozzarella, prosciutto and arugula
They were all really good. Tasted fresh, high quality ingredients (no pink slime meat) and made my life easier. One of my children has a sports practice almost every night, so I just picked the pizzas up after school, put them in the fridge and baked them when we got home from practice. Fresh and better than waiting for a delivery.
My family’s favorite was the Prosciutto & Arugula deLite! The prosciutto was thin and the cheese was creamy and this one is on a thinner crust. I thought for sure the kids would not like the arugula that you get to sprinkle on top, after the pizza is cooked, so I just put it on 1 half of the pizza. Of course, I was wrong and they LOVED the arugula and only wanted the half that had arugula on it.
The Goat Cheese & Fennel Sausage was great too, but I will say, my children did not like to large chunks of sausage. I thought they were really flavorful and all the ingredients went perfect together. If we order the pizzas with the sausage on a regular basis, we will get the Mini-murphs pizza kits (cheese & pepperoni) for the little ones.
The Sun-dried Tomato & Fennel Sausage was my second favorite. The sun-dried tomatoes were sweet and the feta cheese was so good, really all the ingredients tasted just like a premium pizza. I love the fact that I can get such a high quality pizza that I can make at home, since I don’t get out much.
I will definitely get the Primo pizzas for my next girls night out and the Prosciutto & Arugula deLite will be our new go to pizza.
Side note: my husband (the chef) loved them too and rarely eats pizza!
*Disclaimer: I was given the 3 pizzas to review. All thoughts and opinions are 100% mine own!*
My family loves tacos and has them at least once a week. I recently heard that Papa Murphy’s Take and Bake Pizza has a Taco Grande pizza for a limited time. This past Tuesday, we picked up a beef and chicken Taco Grande pizza and a couple of Mini-Murph kits for my little ones to put a twist on our Taco Tuesdays. The Mini-murph kits are personal size pizzas, that come with all the supplies that your kids need to make their own pizza…and they are only $3.oo! We also got a bucket of cookie dough for dessert. Dinner and dessert for a family of 5 for under $30 and it was hot and fresh out of the oven.
I was surprised at how much the pizza tasted like a taco, pleasantly surprised! It really does taste like a taco and so much easier to eat than a traditional taco. The large size pizza is $10 and I don’t know about you, but it cost me a lot more than $10.oo to make traditional homemade tacos, so at that price, it’s worth a taste test. The Taco Grande pizza is only around for a limited time, so try it while you have a chance!
If you are in Lawrence, KS area, there is a new store and you have a chance to celebrate their grand opening! The store is located on 650 Congressional Drive. A grand opening celebration is set for May 2-4, featuring family friendly games, activities and giveaways. On Saturday, May 4, the first 100 people through the new Lawrence location will receive coupons for a free large pepperoni pizza (one per family) starting at 10 a.m.
I have always been a fan of Papa Murphy’s and turns out I’m in good company!
Now, you can TWIST your Taco Tuesday too!
